Our Team
Brian & Jackie McCobb
Brian and Jackie have been missionaries to Paraguay since 2005. They arrived in Paraguay as church planters, and God used them to help start two churches. Since 2013, they have been involved various aspects of orphan care. They co-founded a national movement to promote family-based care in churches & Little Neighbors began in 2020.
Patricia Alarcon
Patricia has been with us since 2022 as a psychologist in our foster care program. She grew up in a pastor’s family and has been active in her church for years. Before coming to Little Neighbors she worked in her own private practice with kids and families. As a member of our team, she is daily working with foster parents, their biological kids and the kids in care.
Tessa Baez
Tessa is our team lawyer. She is a graduate of the National University of Asuncion. She takes the lead on all interactions with the judges and public officials. Though she is not in direct contact with the children on a regular basis, her role is vital to ensure that none of the children we serve get stuck in the system. She is married with four children.
Raquel Ramirez
Raquel is a social worker with years of experience in working with children from hard places before she came to work with us in 2020. She is passionate about serving others with the tools God has given her. She and her husband serve with their three children in their local church.
Ana Cuyer
Ana has been active in the community outreach at her church since she was a teenager. She joined our team in 2023 to coordinate the work we do with orphanages in our mentor / discipleship program. She has also begun to work with biological family members of the kids in foster care.
